James C. Sperring
James C. Sperring is a founding member of Cumberland Litigation PLLC and represents the interests of hospitals and healthcare professionals in a wide variety of matters, including healthcare liability actions, hospital credentialing disputes, provider enrollment disputes, and premises liability actions. He is also a seasoned advocate for medical professionals in disciplinary actions before Tennessee’s licensing boards, including the Board of Medical Examiners, Board of Dentistry, and Board of Nursing.
James grew up in Nashville amongst a family of medical providers. His background and years of experience representing clients in healthcare litigation grant James a natural insight into the unique needs of healthcare practitioners and a true understanding of the challenges of navigating the complex intersection of law and medicine. James has harnessed this knowledge and passion into developing a divorce and family law practice with an emphasis on medical professionals.
James is also a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 family mediator and is trained in Collaborative Divorce.
In his free time, James enjoys fencing, working out, and cooking. He also has an adorable dog, Biscuit, who routinely accompanies him to the office.
